Houston Event Planner: Gold Paint Splattered on Balloons

Taking ordinary objects and thinking “outside of the box” is what sets BASH Event Design ahead of the game.   We are always looking at other artists blogs and being inspired by the design world.  We were on Pinterest today and came across this gem.  The BASH design team loves this idea by splattering gold paint on white and pink balloons to give them a whole different feel than they were before.  An artist never settles for the ordinary!  This is a great way to add color in simple yet creative ways that tie in your color scheme.  When we see this picture it makes me envision being at Andy Warhols birthday party.

BASH obsession with Brooch Bouquets

Ever since we planned our last BASH wedding we have been obsessed with how Miss Emily’s brooch Bouquet turned out.  There is a lot of sentimental value that was put into this bouquet by adding her grandpas army pins, grandmas brooches, her now husbands boy scout pin.  The best part about this kind of bouquet is the fact it never dies.  You have this keepsake to have forever.  As interior designers, we suggested different ways Emily could incorporate the brooch bouquet in her home as a emphasis piece.  You could make it into a chandelier, feature it in a glass box, or put in a place where it is always seen where you can remember that special day and all the loved ones who shared it with you.  Check out the awesome photographs of the bouquet by KHollyPhotography in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
