BASH obsession with Brooch Bouquets

Ever since we planned our last BASH wedding we have been obsessed with how Miss Emily’s brooch Bouquet turned out.  There is a lot of sentimental value that was put into this bouquet by adding her grandpas army pins, grandmas brooches, her now husbands boy scout pin.  The best part about this kind of bouquet is the fact it never dies.  You have this keepsake to have forever.  As interior designers, we suggested different ways Emily could incorporate the brooch bouquet in her home as a emphasis piece.  You could make it into a chandelier, feature it in a glass box, or put in a place where it is always seen where you can remember that special day and all the loved ones who shared it with you.  Check out the awesome photographs of the bouquet by KHollyPhotography in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mint To Be

Theme: Mint to Be

When the maidens of honor of this beautiful bride approached us for a Mint themed wedding shower, we ran with the color concepts of her wedding to create an apropos bridal shower that depicted her personal style.  We wanted to excite the guests with a sneak peak of what is to come at the wedding planned for April 19th in Austin, Texas.

Local Houston restaurant Tiny Boxwoods No. 5 created a special menu customized for the brides taste and budget.  Bottomless Mimosas and cookie desserts added a special touch to this Sunday Brunch.

In keeping with the bride’s clean and simple taste, the refreshment bar was set up with an assortment of mint colored candies, gift bags with special treats for the guests, and cupcakes from one maid of honor’s favorite local bakery, Sweet.

The rustic setting called for simple decorations, so the table was elegantly dressed with a mint tulle runner, and mint and coral candles from the bride’s registry.
